This seminar is intended for engineers whose duties require the application of Project Management Principals to Program and Project Management. Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge is essential but not sufficient to manage in today’s complex environment. The seminar will introduce principles of Systems Thinking, Design Thinking and Complexity to illustrate and highlight the challenges posed by modern projects and the leadership traits that allow engineers to overcome complexity and eminent project failure situations. This seminar includes these topics.

• Case Studies of Failures
• Intro to Complexity
• Recognizing Complexity and Leadership
• Examples of Complexity in Project
• Applications of SA/SU
• Design Thinking and Q&A

This seminar provides 7 PDH and has been submitted for NY State Approval.

Price: $225 / $275 (Club Member / Non-Member) on or before Friday, September 6, 2013.
Increases by $50 after September 13.
